The VMX® 3D Monitoring Sight Glass offers a complete solution for monitoring oil condition in real time.
Description
The VMX® allows oil visualization through a crystal-clear, resistant material. A corrosion indicator allows visualization of when the oil chemistry has changed and begun to attack vulnerable metals. The magnetic plug can point out ferrous wear debris. Both the corrosion indicator and the magnetic plug are removable for later inspection thanks to a rotating sight glass. Finally, the VMX® has a built-in push-in sampling valve with a pitot tube connected for sampling in the oil movement area.
The VMX® is a level sight glass made of highly impact-resistant acrylic with a cylindrical shape for a 3D effect, facilitating the visualization of the oil level. It has a copper pin in direct contact with the oil, where the corrosivity assessment is made by means of the coloration and the presence of observed stains being classified according to the standards of ASTM D 130 (2012). It also includes a magnetic plug and 1/8" NPT ball valve plush-in connection with communication to the reservoir through aluminum tubing.
