Introduction
MPE progressive feeders consist of modular elements featuring intermediate sections with metering pistons of various capacities. They are mounted on a modular base plate composed of an inlet section, sub-plates, and an end section, where the lubricant is admitted under pressure through the inlet section.
Description
The intermediate sections are interchangeable and can serve up to 20 points per feeder. They can be easily removed from the system since all the structural piping is attached directly to the last sub-plate of the base. The components of the assembly are firmly secured with bolts and studs, and are completely sealed by o-rings.
The operational sequence of a progressive feeder occurs in a fully orderly and constant manner. Each section only operates after the previous one completes its piston stroke, injecting the metered lubricant into the bearing or secondary feeder before moving forward. With the flow under pressure, the sections continue to operate progressively; if the flow stops, the pistons resume from the exact same point once it restarts.
